Prior to Deloitte, Tom served as President and Chief Operating Officer of a technology staffing firm, where he was tasked to transform its business model, increase its value, and position the firm for sale. He led their evolution into a full technology solutions provider, built a high-performing sales organization, and earned recognition in Entrepreneur Magazine’s “Hot 100” Fastest-Growing Companies. After engaging a respected M&A advisor, the firm received multiple offers that culminated in a 550% increase in valuation.
Tom was later recruited by a technology solutions provider as President, with a mandate to develop and execute a strategic roll-up aimed at increasing enterprise value. Tom identified, acquired, and integrated three systems-integration firms, launched two complementary business practices, and played a pivotal role in driving significantly higher valuation multiples—culminating in a highly successful exit.
Tom’s distinguished career also includes key growth leadership roles, as Senior Vice President of Business Development for a publicly traded professional services firm and Vice President of Sales for a leading software provider. He began his career in technology sales, where he was the top-performing sales professional at each company he represented—a testament to his lifelong passion for sales performance, leadership, and high impact results.
